Senior & Disabled Fares WITH A RIPTA ID CARD/MEDICARE CARD
Low-income persons with a disability or aged 65 or older may ride free with a RIPTA No Fare ID Pass. All other persons who are at least 65 years old, or who have a disability shall pay full fare during peak hours of service (7AM - 9AM and 3PM - 6PM) on weekdays and shall pay 1/2 fare at all other times upon presentation of a RIPTA Senior/Disabled ID Pass or a Medicare ID Card.
*Please note that RIPTA reserves the right to suspend service to Flex passengers who repeatedly miss pick-ups without canceling their reservations.

- Call toll-free 1-877-906-3539 (phone number only works in the state of RI) or 401-784-9500 ext. 220 from 8:30AM-4:30PM, Monday through Friday, to make your reservation at least 48 hours in advance.
- The pick-up location will be at or near your desired location.
- Please be at the scheduled pick-up a little early. Just like bus service, the FlexVehicle does not wait.
- Your scheduled pick-up time may change due to scheduling. You will be notified as far in advance as possible.
- Passengers may not make or change reservations with a driver.
- To cancel a reservation, call the same toll-free Flex number any time day or night. Toll-Free FlexLine 1-877-906-3539 (phone number only works in the state of RI) or 401-784-9500 ext. 220.
