WHAT’S FLEX SERVICE?
- Transit designed to serve suburban and rural communities.
- Allows you to reserve a ride or board at any one of Flex’s regularly scheduled stops (stops are identified by the yellow Flex logo).
- Anywhere within your community's FlexZone. Narragansett, Woonsocket, West Warwick, Kingston, Island Park/Tiverton and Westerly all have FlexZones.
- For the map of your FlexZone, click on your community’s zone at the left, then click on the map of your zone. (To see all the FLexZones in Rhode Island, see the RIPTA system map.)
- Flex will also connect you to RIPTA's fixed-route bus service for travel outside a FlexZone. Just ask your driver for a transfer. (Transfers are good from 2 hours of purchase.)
- The fares are the same as for RIPTA's regular bus service.
- All RIPTA passes are accepted on Flex.
- Flex Service operates Monday through Friday.
- A small bus that accommodates 16 passengers and includes space for two wheelchairs.

- Or hop aboard at any Flex Stop within a FlexZone. Flex Stops are marked by the Flex logo.
