LINK trolleys run on CNG (compressed natural gas), a clean fuel, and offer two routes to take you to Providence’s restaurants, hotels, theaters, universities, historic sites, shopping and more.

FARES & PASSES

$2.00 – Per Person Per Ride

$6.00 – 1-Day Pass/valid for 24 hours from time of purchase on trolleys and buses
statewide—available only on RIPTA trolleys and buses.

RIPTA is also introducing a new 7-Day Pass on July 1st. The new pass, which is available only on RIPTA buses and trolleys, costs $20.00 and is good for seven consecutive days.

$20.00 – 10-Ride Packet of e-RIPTIKs

RIPTIKs valid on all RIPTA services

RIPTIKs available at Kennedy Plaza, Shaws, Save-A-Lot on Branch Avenue at route 146 and Stop & Shop supermarkets

$26.00 – 15-Ride Pass includes transfer upon request/ valid on all RIPTA services except
RIde Program

All RIPTA fare products, including transfers, are valid on the Providence LINK.


RIPTA FARE INFORMATION FOR SENIORS AND PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES
Low income persons with a disability or age 65 and above may ride free of charge with a RIPTA NO FARE ID PASS. All other persons age 65 and above or with a disability pay full fare during RIPTA peak hours of service (7am-9am and 3pm-6pm) on weekdays and pay 1/2 fare all other times upon presentation of a RIPTA Senior/Disabled ID Pass or a Medicare ID Card.

The Providence LINK Green Line runs every 20 minutes during the following hours:

Monday - Friday 6:30am - 9:00pm
Saturday - 8:00am - 6:30pm
Sunday - 11:00am - 6:30pm

The Providence LINK Gold Line runs every 20 minutes during the following hours:

Monday - Friday 6:30am - 7:00pm
Saturday - 8:30am - 6:30pm
Sunday - 11:00am - 6:30pm
