LINK trolleys run on CNG (compressed natural gas), a clean fuel, and offer two routes to take you to Providence’s restaurants, hotels, theaters, universities, historic sites, shopping and more.

$6.00 – 1-Day Pass/valid for 24 hours from time of purchase on trolleys and buses
statewide—available only on RIPTA trolleys and buses.
RIPTA is also introducing a new 7-Day Pass on July 1st. The new pass, which is available only on RIPTA buses and trolleys, costs $20.00 and is good for seven consecutive days.

RIPTA FARE INFORMATION FOR SENIORS AND PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES
Low income persons with a disability or age 65 and above may ride free of charge with a RIPTA NO FARE ID PASS. All other persons age 65 and above or with a disability pay full fare during RIPTA peak hours of service (7am-9am and 3pm-6pm) on weekdays and pay 1/2 fare all other times upon presentation of a RIPTA Senior/Disabled ID Pass or a Medicare ID Card.

The Providence LINK Green Line runs every 20 minutes during the following hours:
Monday - Friday 6:30am - 9:00pm
Saturday - 8:00am - 6:30pm
Sunday - 11:00am - 6:30pm
The Providence LINK Gold Line runs every 20 minutes during the following hours:
Monday - Friday 6:30am - 7:00pm
Saturday - 8:30am - 6:30pm
Sunday - 11:00am - 6:30pm
