WHAT�S FLEX SERVICE?

Transit designed to serve suburban and rural communities.

Allows you to reserve a ride or board at any one of Flex�s regularly scheduled stops (stops are identified by the yellow Flex logo).

WHERE CAN I TRAVEL ON FLEX?

Anywhere within your community's FlexZone. Narragansett, Pascoag/Slatersville, South Aquidneck, Woonsocket, West Warwick, Kingston, Island Park/Tiverton and Westerly all have FlexZones.

Flex will also connect you to RIPTA's fixed-route bus service for travel outside a FlexZone. Just ask your driver for a transfer. (Transfers are good from 2 hours of purchase.)

WHAT DOES IT COST?

The fares are the same as for RIPTA's regular bus service.

All RIPTA passes are accepted on Flex.

WHEN IS FLEX AVAILABLE?

Flex Service operates Monday through Friday.

WHAT KIND OF VEHICLE DOES FLEX USE?

A small bus that accommodates 16 passengers and includes space for two wheelchairs.

HOW DO I USE FLEX?

You Have a Choice:

Either make a reservation 48 hours in advance by calling the TOLL-FREE Flex Line at 1-877-906 FLEX (3539) or 401-784-9500, ext. 220.

Or hop aboard at any Flex Stop within a FlexZone. Flex Stops are marked by the Flex logo.
