Ride Free in Central Falls with Wave!

RIPTA trips starting in Central Falls are free now through December 31, 2023 through a pilot program. Anytime you board the bus in Central Falls with a Wave smart card or mobile app, that trip will be free.

The pilot has been extended to include boardings at the new Pawtucket-Central Falls Transit Center.

Boarding the bus outside of Central Falls? Add value to your Wave smart card using cash or a credit or debit card so you can pay for your ride back.

To participate in the pilot program, passengers simply have to download the Wave mobile app, available for both Apple and Android devices or use their Wave smart card.
