The Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) announced new hours of operation for the Kennedy Plaza Intermodal Transportation Center.  Effective immediately, the plaza will close one hour earlier in an effort to conserve resources and improve efficiencies.

The Kennedy Plaza Intermodal Transportation Center will be open 7 days a week and holidays from 6:00 am to 7:00 pm.   The hours of operation for the RIPTA Ticket Window and RIPTA Photo ID Office, both located inside the Transportation Center, have not been affected.

The RIPTA Ticket Window is open Monday through Friday from 7:00 am – 6:00 pm and Saturday from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm and 1:00pm – 5:00pm; the window is closed on Sundays and holidays.  The RIPTA Photo ID Office is open Monday through Thursday from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm; the office is closed Friday through Sunday and on holidays.
