The Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) will no longer detour Route 21 (Reservoir) and Route 22 (Pontiac Ave.) in the Providence/Cranston area beginning Friday, May 18, 2012.   The Rhode Island Department of Transportation (RIDOT) began repairs to the bridge on April 23, 2012.  With the completion of repairs to the Reservoir Avenue Bridge, Route 21 and Route 22 will resume regular service.
