The Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) will detour 7 bus routes in the Providence area on Saturday, June 18, 2016 in order to accommodate WaterFire.  Routes 1, 35, 51, 52, 78, 92 and the R-Line will be detoured from 11AM until 1AM the next day.

The following routes will be detoured on Saturday, June 18, 2016:

Route 1 (Eddy/Hope/Benefit)

Route 35 (Rumford/Newport Ave.)

Route 51 (Charles St.)

 Route 52 (Branch Ave./Bryant University)

Route 78 (Beverage Hill/East Providence)

Route 92 (RI College/Federal Hill/East Side)

R-LINE (Broad/North Main)

Inbound trips will travel the regular route to the East Side Tunnel, right onto North Main Street, left onto Park Row, left onto Canal Street, right onto Steeple Street and then resume regular route.

Outbound trips will travel the regular route to Memorial Boulevard through to Dyer Street through to Eddy Street, left onto Point Street, left onto South Main Street, right at the East Side Tunnel and then resume regular route.
