The Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) announced today the launch of their Rider Rewards Program. Through the program, RIPTA is offering discounts at local businesses with the purchase of any RIPTA fare product. The promotional offers begin on Monday, July 1, 2013 and runs all year long.
Each year RIPTA will partner with an array of great businesses to help promote the use of transit. Launch Trampoline Park, Dash Bicycle Shop, Roger Williams Zoo, The Audubon Society of Rhode Island, the John Brown House, and the Museum of Work and Culture have all agreed to offer specialized discounts for the RIPTA Rider Rewards Program.
In order to access these discounts, passengers must ask the driver for a rider receipt. Each receipt is good for one discount, at one location, for a one time use. The more you ride, the more opportunities you have to save. The rider receipt must be redeemed on the date marked on the receipt (the day of the bus ride).
Below is a complete list of the businesses participating in the RIPTA Rider Rewards Program, their promotional offers, and the duration of the discounts.
