The Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) will detour the R-Line (Broad/North Main) in Providence on Saturday, August 12, 2017 all day and night to accommodate AS220’s Annual Foo Fest.  Empire Street will be closed during this time. 

The following route will detour all day and night on August 12, 2017:

R-Line (Broad/North Main):

Northbound trips will travel the regular route to the intersection of Broad Street and Dave Gavitt Way, left onto Dave Gavitt Way, right onto Broadway, right onto Empire Street, left onto Fountain Street, and then resume regular route.

Southbound trips will travel the regular route to the intersection of Empire and Washington Streets, continue on Washington Street, left onto Service Road, right onto Broad Street and then resume regular route.
