The Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) will detour twenty-two bus routes in the Providence area to accommodate the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk. Routes 1, 3, 17, 19, 20, 22, 27, 28, 31, 33, 34, 35, 50, 51, 52, 54, 60, 66, 72, 78, 92, and the R-Line will be detoured beginning at 6:00am until 12:30pm on Sunday, October 19, 2014.

The following detours will be in effect on Sunday, October 19, 2014:

R Line North (Broad/North Main):
Outbound trips will travel the regular route to Bus Stop E on Fountain Street, left onto Francis Street, right onto Memorial Boulevard, left onto Exchange Street and then resume regular route.

Route 1 SOUTH (Eddy/Hope/Benefit):
Outbound trips will leave Exchange Terrace, continuing right onto Francis Street, left onto I-95S, right onto Eddy Street, and then resume regular route.

Route 1 NORTH (Eddy/Hope/Benefit):
Outbound trips will leave Exchange Street via a left onto Fulton Street, right onto Dorrance Street, left onto Washington Street, right onto Empire Street, right onto Fountain Street, left onto Francis Street, right onto Memorial Boulevard, left onto Exchange Street, right onto Park Row, right onto Canal Street, left onto Washington Street through the East Side Tunnel, and then resume regular route.

Route 3 (Warwick Avenue):
Inbound trips will travel the regular route to the intersection of Weybosset and Richmond Streets, left onto Weybosset Street, right onto Empire Street, right onto Fountain Street, left onto Francis Street, right onto Memorial Boulevard, right onto Exchange Street, and then right onto Exchange Terrace to Bus Stop J.

Outbound trips will leave Exchange Terrace via a right onto Francis Street, left onto I-95S, right at the Eddy Street Exit, right onto Street, and then resume regular route.

Route 17 (Dyer/Pocasset):
Inbound trips will travel the regular route to Fountain Street and then left onto Sabin Street to the bus stop.

Outbound trips will travel the regular route.

Route 19 (Plainfield/Westminster):
Please refer to the Route 19 (Plainfield/Westminster) detour.

Route 20 (Elmwood Avenue):
Please refer to the Route 17 (Dyer/Pocasset) detour.

Route 22 (Pontiac Avenue):
Please refer to the Route 17 (Dyer/Pocasset) detour.

Route 27 (Broadway/Manton Ave.):
Please refer to the Route 17 (Dyer/Pocasset) detour.

Route 28 (Broadway/Hartford Ave):
Please refer to the Route 17 (Dyer/Pocasset) detour.

Route 31 (Cranston Street):
Inbound trips will travel the regular route to the intersection of Washington and Empire Streets, left onto Empire Street, right onto Fountain Street, left onto Francis Street, right onto Memorial Boulevard, right onto Exchange Street, and then right onto Exchange Terrace to Bus Stop I.

Outbound trips will travel the regular route.

Routes 33 (Riverside):
Inbound trips will travel the regular route.

Outbound trips will leave Exchange Terrace via a right onto Francis Street, turn left onto the I-95S on-ramp through to I-195E, and then resume regular route.

Routes 34 (East Providence):
Inbound trips will travel the regular route to I-195W continuing onto I-95N, right at the Point Street Exit through to East Franklin Street, right onto Weybosset Street through to Lower Weybosset Street, and then continuing on to Exchange Street to Bus Stop P.

Outbound trips will leave Bus Stop P via a left onto Fulton Street, right onto Dorrance Street, left onto Washington Street, right onto Empire Street, right onto Fountain Street, left onto Francis Street, left onto I-95S through to I-195E, and then resume regular route.

Route 35 (Rumford/Newport Ave.):
Inbound trips will travel the regular route.

Outbound trips will leave Exchange Terrace via a right onto Francis Street, right onto Memorial Boulevard, left onto Exchange Street, right onto Park Row, right onto Canal Street, left onto Washington Street through the East Side Tunnel, and then resume regular route.

Route 50 (Douglas Avenue):
Inbound trips will travel the regular route to the intersection of Francis Street and Memorial Boulevard, left onto Memorial Boulevard, right onto Exchange Street, and then right onto Exchange Terrace to Bus Stop G.

Outbound trips will travel the regular route.

Route 51 (Branch/Bryant University.):
Inbound trips will travel the regular route.

Outbound trips will leave Exchange Street via Park Row, left onto North Main Street and then resume regular route.

Route 52 (Branch Ave.):
Please refer to the Route 51 (Branch/Bryant University) detour.

Route 54 (Lincoln/Woonsocket):
Inbound trips will travel the regular route to Fountain Street, left onto Francis Street, right onto Memorial Boulevard, right onto Steeple Street, and then right onto Exchange Street to Bus Stop M.

Outbound trips will travel the regular route.

Route 60 (Providence/Newport):
Inbound trips will travel regular route on I-195 West to I-95 North, take a right off the Downtown Exit through to Memorial Boulevard, right onto Steeple Street to Bus Stop O.

Outbound trips will leave Bus Stop O via Exchange Terrace, right Francis Street, left onto I-95 South through to I-195 East and then resume regular route.

Route 66 (URI/Galilee):
Inbound trips will travel the regular route I-95N, right at the Downtown Exit through to Memorial Boulevard, right onto Exchange Street, and then right onto Exchange Terrace to Bus Stop H.

Outbound trips will travel the regular route.

Route 72 (Weeden/Central Falls):
Please refer to the Route 51 (Branch/Bryant University) detour.

Route 78 (Beverage Hill):
Please refer to the Route 35 (Rumford/Newport Ave.) detour.

Route 92 RI College/Federal Hill/East Side EAST:
Inbound trips leaving from East Side Market to Kennedy Plaza will travel the regular route.

Outbound trips from Federal Hill will travel the regular route to Fountain Street, left onto Francis Street, right onto Memorial Boulevard, right onto Steeple Street, and then right onto Exchange Street to Bus Stop L. Trips will then leave Bus Stop L via a right onto Park Row, right onto Canal Street, left onto Washington Street through to the East Side Tunnel, and then resume regular route.
