Routes 1, 14, 17, 19, 33, 34, 35, 50, 51, 54, 55, 56, 57, 60, 66, 72, 78, 92 and the R-Line will be on detour on Sunday, December 8 from 9 am to 11:15 am to accommodate the Jingle 5K.

Route 1

Northbound will travel regular route.

Southbound will travel regular route to the intersection of Hope and Thayer Streets, continue onto Hope St., turn right onto Angell St., right onto South Main St., left onto Smith St., left onto Gaspee St., continue through to Francis St., left onto Washington St., right onto Exchange St., right onto Fulton St. and then resume regular route.

R-Line

Northbound trips will travel regular route to Bus Stop J, turn left onto Exchange St., left onto Exchange Terrace, right onto Francis St., right onto Smith St., left onto North Main St. and then resume regular route.

Southbound trips will travel regular route to the intersection of North Main and Smith Streets, turn right on Smith St., left on Francis St. through to Dorrance St., left onto Washington St., right onto Exchange St., right onto Fulton St. and then resume regular route.

Route 14

Inbound trips will travel regular route.

Outbound trips will turn right onto Exchange St., right onto Fulton St., right onto Dorrance St. through to Francis St., turn left onto I-95 South and then resume regular route. 

Route 17

Inbound trips will travel regular route to Washington St., turn right onto Exchange St., right onto Fulton St., and then resume regular route. 

Route 19

Route 33

Inbound trips will travel regular route to Angell St., continue Angell St., turn right onto South Main St., left onto Smith St., left onto Francis St., and then left onto Washington St. to Bus Stop H.

Outbound trips will travel regular route.

Route 34

Route 35

Inbound trips will travel regular route to I-195 West to I-95 North, turn right at the Downtown Exit, right onto Francis St. through to Dorrance St., and then left onto Washington St. to Bus stop H.

Outbound trips will travel regular route, turn right on Exchange St., right onto Fulton St., left onto Dorrance St., right onto Dyer St. through to Eddy St., left onto Point St., right onto South Main St. and then resume regular route.

Route 78

Please refer to the Route 35 detour.

Routes 50, 55, 56, 57

Inbound trips will travel regular route to Smith St., continue onto Francis St. and then resume regular route.

Outbound trips will turn left onto Exchange Terrace, right onto Francis St., continue onto Smith St. and then resume regular route.

Routes 51, 54, 72

Inbound trips will travel regular route to Canal St., turn right onto Smith St., left onto Francis St. through to Dorrance St. and then resume regular route.

Outbound trips will leave Kennedy Plaza, turn left onto Exchange St., left onto Exchange Terrace, right onto Francis St., right onto Smith St., left onto Mill St. through to Charles St. and then resume regular route.

Route 60

Inbound trips will travel regular route to I- 195 West through to I-95 North, right at the Downtown Exit, right onto Francis St., left onto Exchange Terrace to Bus Stop Y.

Outbound trips will turn right onto Exchange St., right onto Fulton St., right onto Dorrance St. through to Francis St., left onto I-95 South to I-195 East and then resume regular route.

Route 66

Inbound trips will travel regular route to Bus Stop Y, then turn right onto Exchange St., right onto Fulton St., right onto Dorrance St., right onto Washington St., left onto Exchange St., and then left onto Exchange Terrace to Bus Stop X. Inbound tips will not serve the train station.

Outbound trips will travel regular route.

Route 92

Eastbound trips will travel regular route to Bus Stop J, turn right onto Exchange St., right onto Fulton St., left onto Dorrance St., right onto Dyer St. and then resume regular route.

Westbound trips will travel regular route to Dyer St., left onto Dorrance St., right onto Lower Weybosset through to Exchange St., left onto Fulton St. to Bus Stop D and then resume regular route.

The following routes will be on detour to accommodate the Christmas Tree Lighting at Providence City Hall (Dorrance St.) on December 6, 2024 from 6 AM through 10 PM:

Route 6, 17, 18, 19, 20, 22, and R-Line:

Outbound trips will turn left onto Dorrance St., left onto Weybosset St., left onto Exchange St., left onto Exchange Terrace, left onto Dorrance St., right onto Washington St. and then resume the regular route.

Inbound is on the regular route.

Route 21:

Outbound trips will turn left onto Dorrance St., left onto Weybosset St., left onto Exchange St., left onto Memorial Blvd. and then resume the regular route.

Inbound is on the regular route.

Route 92:

Westbound trips will turn left onto Dorrance St., left onto Weybosset St., left onto Exchange St., left onto Exchange Terrace, continue onto Sabin St. and then resume the regular route.

Eastbound is on the regular route.

Route 1 North, 3, 4:

Inbound trips will travel the regular route to Dyer St., continue onto Memorial Blvd., turn left onto Exchange Terrace, left onto Dorrance St., left onto Washington St. and then resume the regular route.

Outbound is on the regular route.

Route 51, 54, 58, 72:

Outbound trips will travel the regular route to Dyer St., continue onto Memorial Blvd., turn left onto Exchange Terrace, left onto Dorrance St., left onto Washington St. and then resume the regular route.

Inbound is on the regular route.

Route 32, 33, 34, 35, 60, 78:

Inbound trips will travel the regular route to Steeple St., continue onto Exchange Terrace, turn left onto Dorrance St., left onto Washington St. and then resume the regular route.

Outbound is on the regular route.

Inbound trips will travel regular route to Taunton Ave., turn right on Valley t o Waterfront Drive, right on Henderson Bridge to Angell Street, left on Gano Street, and then right onto I-195 West to regular route. Outbound trips will travel regular route.

Route 58 is on detour until further notice due to the West River Street Bridge Replacement Project.
Inbound trips will travel regular route to Branch Ave., turn right onto North Main St., right onto Barbara Leonard Way, right onto Corliss St. through to W. River St., left onto Charles St. and then resume regular route.
Outbound trips will travel regular route to Charles St., turn right onto West River St., continue onto Corliss St., turn left onto Barbara Leonard Way, left onto North Main St., left onto Branch Ave. and then resume regular route.
