June 11, 2024 - Express Beach Bus Returns for the Season The Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) will implement summer service changes effective Saturday, June 15, 2024. RIPTA makes regular service adjustments three times a year in response to seasonal changes and/or passenger use.

  July 4, 2024 - RIPTA to Detour Route 60 (Providence/Newport) to Accommodate Bristol Fourth of July Parade The Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) will run a Sunday/Holiday service schedule on Thursday, July 4, 2024, in observance of the Fourth of July. The Sunday/Holiday schedule will apply to all regular fixed-route service.
